Used Excavator Inspection Checklist for Buyers

1. Confirm identity: brand, model, serial number, nameplate, year and visible hour meter.
2. Check engine: cold start, idle stability, smoke color, abnormal noise and oil leakage.
3. Test hydraulics: boom, arm, bucket, swing, travel motor, speed and response under load.
4. Inspect wear: track chain, rollers, sprockets, bucket teeth, cylinder rods, hoses and cabin display.
5. Confirm export: FOB/CIF quote, loading method, photos, invoice, packing details and bill of lading.
