Inspection is the baseline
Request a cold-start video, hydraulic movement video, undercarriage photos and the nameplate. For remote used-machinery purchases, video beats photos.
Customs and taxes
Confirm destination-port clearance documents, import duty and VAT, and build these into your landed cost up front. Ask the supplier to estimate the total landed cost, not just the machine price.
